KINGSTON & OTTAWA – 2 Day Tour

1000 Island Visit 

DAY ONE:

8:00am Meet your TNT Activities Director on the southwest corner of Yonge St. and Davenport, in front of the TNT office.

8:15am Board your coach bus and depart for KINGSTON.

11:00am Arrive in Kingston.  Participate in a driving tour of this historic city.  You will see:  Queen’s University, Kingston Penitentiary, Bellevue House, Kingston Harbour, Old Fort Henry and Royal Military College.  You will also enjoy a walking tour of Queen’s University’s main campus.

12:15pm Lunch time in Springer Market Square.  You can also visit the city’s harbourfront on Lake Ontario!

1:30pm Depart from Kingston.  Enjoy a drive along highway #2 to take in the beauty of Gananoque and the 1,000 Islands area!

4:00pm Arrive in Ottawa. Check into your deluxe hotel.

4:30pm Participate in an orientation walk of downtown Ottawa.  You will see many popular areas:  Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, Confederation Square, Sparks Street, Bank Street, Elgin Street, Byward Market and more!  

6:00pm Your Activities Director will provide you with dinner and evening options.  Overnight in Ottawa.

DAY TWO:

8:00am Own arrangements for breakfast.

9:00am Check out of your hotel.  Participate in a driving tour of Ottawa.  You will see:  Sussex Drive, Embassy Row, the Prime Minister’s official residence, Rideau Hall and more!

10:00am Visit the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec (admission included).  You can learn more about the creation of our land, starting with aboriginal culture, then followed by European explorers and the centuries of evolution from coast to coast to coast.

12:30pm Time for lunch and exploration.  You will be given time to visit different neighborhoods in Ottawa.  

3:00pm Board your coach bus.  Depart for Toronto.  A rest stop will be made on route.

8:00pm Arrive at Bloor-Yonge subway station in Toronto.
