5-DAY MONTRÉAL READING WEEK TOUR!

FEBRUARY 19-20-21-22-23, 2025

NOTE:  This is only a sample itinerary.  All tour features will be confirmed at time of final payment.  This link is for you to make your full payment, which includes your deposit of $200.00.  

DAY ONE: Wednesday, February 19th, 2025

9:30am Modern video-equipped highway motor coaches to pick up the group and your TNT Activities Directors on the South-West corner of Church Street and Gould Street in Toronto.  Load luggage and board.

10:00am (ish) Depart for Montreal. A rest/lunch stop will be made on route.

5:00pm Arrive in Montreal. Check into your hotel: Hampton Inn by Hilton Montreal Downtown 985 Boulevard Saint-Laurent Montreal QC H2Z 1J4                Tel: (514) 370-7777 (NOTE: This hotel will sell out quickly.  Then another property will be offered).

There will be a TNT booth in the lobby of your hotel for more party and tour information. This will be your opportunity to sign up for Quebec City and/or Skiing/Snowboarding excursions!

8:00pm Meet your TNT Activities Directors in front of the hotel. Walk to the TNT  EVENING EVENT in Old Montreal (- admission included – NOTES: You must be at least 18 years old to enter; government photo I.D. is required)! NOTE: There is no return shuttle on the first evening. Return to your hotel on your own.  Overnight in Montreal.

DAY TWO: Thursday, February 20th, 2025

Breakfast is included at your hotel each morning from 7:00am to 9:00am.

8:00am OPTION #1:  Board your coach. Depart for Quebec City (extra). Enjoy a full day exploring this historic settlement, including an orientation tour and an optional self-guided tour of the Ice Hotel (extra)! Approximate return time at the hotel is 8:00pm.

11:00am OPTION #2:  Board your coach.  Participate in an orientation driving tour of Montreal . Stops will be made at Schwartz’s Deli – (Smoked Meat) – 3895 boul. St-Laurent and La Banquise (Poutine) – 994, rue Rachel Est.  You will see: St. Joseph’s Oratory, Mont Royal, Montreal’s outdoor market, Olympic Stadium, McGill University, the Bell Centre and a walk through Old Montreal. A designated meeting spot will be determined for a shuttle back to the hotel. Or Casino shuttle or dine-around shuttle.

2:00pm OPTION #3:  Enjoy a hike to the top of Mont Royal for a bird’s-eye view of Montreal!  You will climb 400 steps to a height of 220 metres!  You can also enjoying tobogganing and ice skating here (additional cost).

2:00pm OPTION #4: Walk to L’Esplanade Tranquille in Quartier des Spectacles to enjoy ice skating (FREE)! Skate rentals available for approximately $17.  You may also choose to walk to the Eaton Centre to shop and visit the underground city.

9:00pm EVENING:  Board your coaches in front of the hotel for a shuttle to our TNT PUB/CLUB EVENT (based on total number of participants)! Laurent – free admission with your TNT Party Pass! NOTE: You must be at least 18 years old to enter; government photo I.D. is required)!

DAY THREE: Friday, February 21st, 2025

Breakfast is included at your hotel each morning from 7:00am to 9:00am.

11:00am OPTION #1:  Board your coach.  Participate in an orientation driving tour of Montreal . Stops will be made at Schwartz’s Deli – (Smoked Meat) – 3895 boul. St-Laurent and La Banquise (Poutine) – 994, rue Rachel Est. You will see: St. Joseph’s Oratory, Mont Royal, Montreal’s outdoor market, Olympic Stadium, McGill University, the Bell Centre and a walk through Old Montreal. A designated meeting spot will be determined for a shuttle back to the hotel. Or Casino shuttle or dine-around shuttle.

OPTION #2:  Board your coach.  Depart for fun afternoon/evening of skiing/snowboarding/snowtubing at Mont Avila – including return shuttle, lift ticket and rentals. NOTE:  This must be pre-purchased a minimum of 2 days in advance.  Approximate time of arrival back at the hotel is 10:00pm.

2:00pm OPTION #3: Walk to L’Esplanade Tranquille in Quartier des Spectacles to enjoy ice skating (FREE)! Skate rentals available for approximately $17.

5:00pm OPTION #4: Meet your TNT Activities Director in your hotel lobby.  Walk to Old Montreal.  Enjoy time for exploration and dinner in Old Montreal.  You may choose to enjoy a ride on La Grande Roue de Montréal – the tallest observation wheel in Canada (admission extra – tickets can be pre-purchased through TNT TOURS)!

9:30pm EVENING:  Board your coaches in front of the hotel for a shuttle to our TNT CLUB EVENT at MUZIQUE (or similar – based on total number of participants)! 3781, St-Laurent Boulevard, Montreal QC – Tel: (514) 282-2224; – free admission until 10:30pm only, then $10.00 until midnight, then $15.00 – NOTE: You must be at least 18 years old to enter; government photo I.D. is required)!

1:00am SHARP!:  Board your shuttle in front of the night club – return to your hotel (optional).

DAY FOUR: Saturday, February 22nd, 2025

Breakfast is included at your hotel each morning from 7:00am to 9:00am.

1:00am SHARP!:  Board your shuttle in front of the night club – return to your hotel (optional).

DAY FIVE: Sunday, February 23rd, 2025

Breakfast is included at your hotel each morning from 7:00am to 9:00am.

10:00am to 11:00am  A staff member from TNT as well as a staff member from the hotel will pass by your room to verify that there are no damages. 

11:30am Check out of your hotel and load luggage onto your coach. Depart for Scarborough/Toronto. A rest/meal stop will be made on route.

6:00pm Approximate arrival at TMU Campus.

NOTE 1: We strongly recommend that all passengers purchase Emergency Hospital/Medical Insurance for their travel outside of Ontario.  This may be purchased either through Temple and Temple Tours Inc. or at a local branch of a Canadian chartered bank.  We offer two plans:

i) Emergency Hospital Medical Insurance $20.00

ii) Emergency Hospital Medical and Cancellation Insurance $35.00

If you decide to not purchase insurance, please choose the “I Decline Insurance” option.  If you do not click on one of the 2 insurance options, it means that you decline this coverage.

NOTE 2:  You must be a TMU student to qualify for the subsidized cost – please enter your student ID number in the comments section before paying.
